The photographer: Sitan van Sluis

Sitan van Sluis is a very social and experienced people-photographer. After working a decade as a professional greenscreen event photographer for the top 500 companies in the Netherlands (ABN AMRO, Rabobank, KPN, Lufthansa, LEGO, Department of Defense, Scania and lot of other companies) he knows exactly how to create a nice atmosphere to take great pictures. When needed he gives friendly, clear pose directions to get the perfect shot.

For corporate headshots its important to create a picture reflecting the personality of the person, yet creating an overall recognisable look, fitting the coporate brand style.

Pricing

We use one tariff of € 75,00 per hour excluding 21% VAT. This means this tariff is for all kinds of work, including: travelling, preparing the setup on location, shooting and post processing. Rule of thumb: one hour of shooting takes about two hours post processing.

Example: a shoot in Amsterdam of 5 people, delivering 3 post processed photos per person is about 650 euro ex vat.
A three day shoot in Leiden of 30 people, one photo processed will be around 2500-3000 euro ex vat.

The shooting proces

  • After the arragement is made and planned in we travel to your location
  • We need an empty room to shoot the photos: 5x5m and 2.5 meters high
  • We use a power outlet: 230VAC/16A
  • It takes about one hour to build the set: background, lights, softboxes, testing.
  • We usally shoot with 5 strobes with soft boxes, against a white or grey background or against a greenscreen
  • We need approximately 15-20 minutes per employee to meet, explain and shoot
  • Afterwards we post-process the images roughly (color, some cropping) and than we produce a password protected webgallery per employee for proofing. The links of the webgalleries are send to you. You redistribute the links. Employees send the photonumbers of the pictures they like to us by e-mail.
  • Choosen images will be further post processed (blemishes, eye contrast, teeth withening) and delivered to you via WeTransfer in low and high resolution. You can redistributed them to your employee and user them in your communication.
  • We can shoot about 15-25 employees per day.
  • If needed we can also shoot multiple days in a row.

Setup with greenscreen

We use greenscreen when you need cutout portraits with a transparent background. MagicShoot has developped software to quickly remove the green backgrounds of many pictures automatically.
